Yes! The decision has been made. I am officially going to boarding school. I am going to Besant Hill School in Ojai, CA. Don't worry, I will still post! :) But yes, it has been decided. I'm kind of excited but I will really miss everything about my home and my friends and my life. Well, there's no turning back now. I guess I'll just have to remind myself of the oppurtunity I'm being given. I am very excited to go and I hope that it will change me for the better.

Hey there..this is my VERY first post. My name is Selin Binay and I'm Turkish/Swedish. My name mean fresh running water(selin) one thousand moons(binay) which I always thought was kinda cool even though that sounds really lame and dorky (:

I live in San Rafael, California which is a place nobody knows so I'll just pretend I live in San Francisco which is right next to me. And that also makes me sound cooler. Which is kinda hard since really am not cool at all :).

I went backpacking with some friends to ossagon creek last month. It was funn.

My idol is probably...okay well I have three: Marilyn Monroe (because she always dared to be different regardless of what anyone else did or thought no quetions asked), Audrey Hepburn (because she was sweet and a wonderful role model as well as an extremely talented actress), and Chanel Iman(because she's very innocent and she keeps her public and private life seperate. She also made a huge name for herself being one of the few black women to become a supermodel like Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell)

I love to travel and I have been to a lot of places. Traveling is so wonderful, you get to experience other cultures and traditions and its so inspiring! And you can make so many new friends while you are where ever you are. I wish I could bottle all the things i've learned from the places I've been and even though I can't do that I can incorporate what I learned into my life.

I went highlining across a river up north on the Trinity River..It was absolutely amazing(:
